Harare, Zimbabwe – The Zimbabwe Republic Police has announced a recruitment exercise for suitably qualified candidates to join the organization as General Duty Constables. The selected candidates will undergo a two-year training program at Mkushi Police Training Academy, an affiliate of the University of Zimbabwe, leading to a Diploma in Police Studies.
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following requirements:
– Be Zimbabwean citizens
– Be aged between 18 and 22 years
– Have a minimum of 5 Ordinary Level passes, including Mathematics, English Language, and any other Science subject, attained in not more than two sittings
– Be physically and medically fit
– Meet the minimum height requirements: 1.68m and weigh at least 59kg for males, and 1.62m with weight proportional to height for females
Interested candidates are encouraged to apply and join the Zimbabwe Republic Police team. The recruitment exercise is part of the organization’s efforts to boost its human resources and enhance its services to the community.
