Ousted ZANU PF youths have again accused Political Commissar and Professor Jonathan Moyo for being the source of factionalism and confusion in the ruling party.
Addressing the media at a press conference held at Media Centre, ousted ZANU –PF youth Godfrey Tsenengamu accused Professor Jonathan Moyo and Saviour Kasukuwere as the root cause behind the problems in ZANU-PF.
“These divisionists and factionalists are the originators of Lacoste and G-40 factional terms .They now want to associate the G-40 faction with the Secretary for Women Affairs Cde Grace Mugabe when in fact it existed well before the entry of Grace Mugabe into the political arena” said Tsenengamu reading from a statement.
He went on to urge the duo to resign from the party.
“If they do not resign will be forced to show them the exit to save the party” he added.
Tsenengamu urged the president to closely monitor all cabinet minister for them to provide service delivery rather than concentrate on factionalism.
He dismissed their expulsion from ZANU-PF saying they had readmitted themselves into the ruling party.
“We were expelled by the G-40 cabal which is led by Kasukuwere and Moyo not ZANU–PF, ZANU-PF still need us,” he added.
“We say to them stand on your own and stop misinforming the leader and abusing his name, the problem is here (between Kasukuwere and Moyo).
Answering a question about the planned one million march being organised by the party, he said that it was an insult to the President to mobilise only one million Zimbabweans out of the 14 million in the country. He said Kudzai Chipanga must instead focus on demanding jobs , farms for the youths .
“Chipanga is lost, because you cannot say one million supporters support president in a country with 13-14 million, we are not going to participate in the one million man march because it is an insult to the President” he said.
The signatories to the press statement were identified as Washington Nkomo, Edmore Samambwa, Godfrey Tsenengamu, Tamuka Nyoni, Khumbulani Mpofu, Vengai Musengi, Obey Mashanda , Mlanga Innocent , Mhizha Edwin and Tendai Bosha
