Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe – President Emmerson Mnangagwa today officially opened the 10th CEO Africa Annual Roundtable at Elephant Hills Resort, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. The event, themed “The Future of Africa: Modernise, Reshape, and Grow,” brings together CEOs and senior executives from various sectors to discuss strategies for improving work environments and ethics.
In his opening remarks, President Mnangagwa emphasized the importance of seizing opportunities for inclusive growth, ensuring that no one and no place is left behind. The roundtable provides a platform for leaders to share knowledge and ideas on how to modernize, reshape, and grow Africa’s economy.
Key topics to be discussed include building inclusive AI, boosting trade through the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and strategies to make off-grid renewables appealing to the private sector. The event also aims to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among African countries, aligning with the SADC collaboration goals.
