
The board of Kuvimba Mining House (Pvt) Ltd has appointed Trevor Barnard as the acting group chief executive officer (GCEO) following Simba Chinyemba’s move to Mutapa Investment as Chief Investment Officer (CIO).
“The board of Kuvimba Mining House has announced the appointment of Trevor Barnard as the acting GCEO for the group,” read board announcement by chairman J.H Mupamhanga.
Barnard’s professional journey spans over three decades, primarily within the Mining and Cement manufacturing sector across Africa.
His track record includes roles such as Country Manager for Prospect Lithium and Managing Director for PPC Zimbabwe and PPC DRC.
“Mr Banard brings a wealth of technical and leadership experience that will propel KMH towards a competitive and cutting-edge position on the market,” read the statement.
