The Election Resource Centre (ERC), disowns the fake post that is currently being circulated on social media, purporting that the institution has predicted through its Twitter handle and foreign countries, that the ruling party ZANU PF will win the forthcoming general elections.

Since its formation in 2010, ERC, a think tank and advocacy institution on elections and democracy, has never conducted a poll assessing the predictions of western countries on the outcome of Zimbabwe’s electoral processes.

The ERC encourages citizens to participate, provide oversight in, and monitor electoral processes to ensure transparency, accountability and credibility.

 The ERC also takes this opportunity to encourage citizens that have not registered to vote to register to vote.
