CHIREDZI: Chiredzi journalist Patrick Chitongo has gone into hiding after 3 men who claimed that they are from CIO in Masvingo besieged his house at 1am on the 26th of September 2019. The team later came back on the 27th of September at 5am and harassed his wife and kids asking for the whereabouts of the journalist. Information so far received from inner circles is that the strange visitors want to force the journalist to divulge information pertaining to who gave him information compiled by one CIO Ncube and CST Ndiripo of Ferret which listed him and 4 others in Chiredzi as targets for JOC and Ferret operations in Chiredzi. The document has since gone viral.
