Young Gospel Artist, Nechavava, Launches Vibrant “Makomborero Hobho’’ Video

Zimbabwean young and upcoming gospel artist Life Nechavava, also popularly known as “LifeChanging’’ in Gospel music circles, has officially released his second DVD project dubbed Makomborero Hobho.

LifeChanging started his musical journey in 2007 at the age of 20 before releasing his debut  eight-track albumNdiye Ega accompanied with a DVD in June 2013.The youthful musician expressed optimism over his new project saying that it will perform very well on the market.“I’m very hopeful that Makomborera Hobho will do well compared to my first project, Ndiye Ega which did well with tracks such as Ishe NditungamirireAlpha and Omega. The latter track also featured Takesure Ncube of Worship Addicts.

Nechavava however expressed his concerns over how little time is afforded to gospel music on Zimbabwe’s radio stations.

“My concern is over the unbalanced air play of gospel music with other music genres which I have discovered that gospel music is played mostly on Sundays compared to circular music so I’m just saying advocating a balanced airplay on our local radio station”,

He went on to say that despite some challenges being faced by both upcoming and established musicians he had managed a measure success in the industry.“Of course challenges are there like financial, piracy but I thank God who has helped me sail through”, said Life.

On this new project he collaborated with Primrose Njewa who was also  the lead vocalist on the Zimpraise songSungano. The musician has so far shared stage with prominent international musicians such as Pastor Donnie Mcclurkin, Kirk Franklin, Juanita Bynun and many others in Zimbabwe.

Necahavava also worked with interdenominational group Zimpraise for five years but later resigned to go solo.Commenting on young Gospel artistes,  the energetic musician said that there was need to learn from other gurus in the industry. “Upcoming artist needs to emulate from other established artist for mentorship but above all they need to put God first in everything for spiritual guidance”, narrated Life.
