Tempers flared today at Zimbabwe National Students Union (ZINASU) press conference when other members interjected saying the press conference was not sanctioned by their organization.

The press conference was at Media Centre Zimbabwe in the capital where ZINASU president Gilbert Munyuki was going to talk about “Students response to the socio-economic crisis in Zimbabwe”

ZINASU members who were present seemed to have mobilized with the intention of disrupting the press conference which they disregarded because they were never consulted.

“ZINASU is an organization made of many people and not one person can come here and organize a press conference which other members do not know of,” Unidentified ZINASU member fumed.

The situation turned nasty which prompted the security to chuck out all ZINASU members and subsequently call off the press conference.
